View our class schedule >> Rhinebeck Pilates offers a variety of pilates classes for the beginner to the advanced student throughout each day of the week. Private and Duet sessions can be scheduled during times when classes are not in session. If you are new to pilates, it is recommended that you have at least one private session before you begin attending classes, so the instructor can learn more about you and your body, assess your physical health, and help you decide how to proceed with pilates. An initial private session is also best for you, as the student, to learn the fundamentals of pilates and how to use the equipment, before joining a group class Our discount class packages are a great way to start pilates. More Information >> When the instructor deems it appropriate, and with a little experience, anyone can join group classes on either the equipment or the mat. Group classes are a great way to work out and join other friendly people in the community who value health and wellness. Many people find that attending one private and one class per week is an excellent combination of session types. 2-3 types of sessions per week are recommended, to fully immerse the body in the pilates method, and to feel the benefits more effectively. However, with even just one session per week, the benefits of pilates will be apparent. |
