Similar to the private session the duet is ideal for two people, at similar levels, to work out together with one instructor. Students will utilize all of the pilates equipment, including the Tower, Reformer, Chairs, and Barrels.

Tower Class
 
 


Energizing, mindful, and flowing, these classes combine the resistance of the springs and bars of the tower with the precise movements of mat work to create one of the best workouts of the mind and body that exists today. With only five students per class, a tower class is an economical way to experience pilates on the equipment while also benefiting from the expert eye of the instructor.


If there are three students in class, we will likely also use the reformer.

Circuit Class
 
 


This is an excellent class for anyone who wants to try a new type of class that utilizes many pieces of equipment.  Class consists of a warm up on the mat and tower, followed by vigorous work on the reformer, chair, and barrels.  With less supervision than a than a typical tower class, this is best for a student with pilates experience.

Pilates Mat Class
 
 


Many students find the Pilates Mat exercises the most challenging. Without the assistance of springs, the body must create its own resistance while flowing from one exercise to the next. Magic Circles, therabands, foam rollers and weights are added to create a wide variety of exercises that challenge the body and mind.

Walk-ilates Class

 
 


Improper walking and running biomechanics are the main causes of aches, pains, and injuries.  Walk-ilates classes begin with special releases and stretches using the foam roller, followed by Pilates Mat exercises using the magic circle and standing balances. The class then moves outside for a cardiovascular walk, where proper gait and optimal alignment are stressed.  Students are encouraged to wear their MBT shoes, though regular walking/ running sneakers are fine.

Small Group Apparatus Class

 
 


This class, taught by two instructors, allows us to work on a wide range of exercises in two small groups of students.  Focus is on the reformer, chairs, mats, and barrels.

Pre-Natal Pilates Class

 
 


Prenatal Pilates classes offer a safe and highly effective form of exercise for expecting mothers, which allow them to stay strong and reduce discomfort throughout their pregnancies, ease the challenges of labor, and shorten post-partum recovery time. Tone your core, lower back & pelvic floor muscles by using a combination of mat exercises, tower apparatus and a variety of Pilates props, which assist in safe modifications for all stages of pregnancy. Doctor's permission required.

The class is offered by Instructor Jill DiGiovanni who specializes in Pre & Post Natal training.

Mommy and Me Pilates Class

 
 


Our Mommy and Me Pilates Class is one of the Hudson Valley’s only exercise classes where new moms can work out, and bring the baby along! Mommy & Me Pilates is specially designed for new moms and their babies (from birth to walking). This class will help new mothers rejuvenate and tone their post pregnancy bodies, bond with their babes, and meet other new moms too! Classes teach Pilates exercises that will gently restore core strength, pelvic floor, and postural alignment. Exercises are safe for moms with diastatis recti & c-section delivery. New moms must be at least 6 weeks post-partum to join class.

Classes are taught by Jill DiGiovanni, certified Pilates Instructor & pre- and post-exercise specialist.

Massages with Anton Sinatra

 
 


In our studio, Anton creates a calm, restorative environment necessary for balancing mind, body and spirit.  After a massage session with him, the whole body feels more flexible and mobile.  Pilates students who get regular massages with Anton say how much it helps them advance in pilates by moving more fluidly and with more ease from one exercise
to the next.

   


$80 / 1 hr
$115 / 1.5 hr
